Microsoft recently has announced a business application path for certifying Microsoft solutions experts.  Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert is a certification intended for IT professionals seeking to demonstrate their ability to build innovative solutions across multiple technologies, both on-premises and in the cloud. In order to become a MCSE, it is prerequisite the developers to have MCSA certificate. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate is a certification program intended for people who seek entry-level jobs in an IT environment.

Business Applications Path

Microsoft Dynamics 365 developers can choose a business application path to their certificate which depends on the applications they work on. Microsoft Dynamics 365 developers who worked with previously called Dynamics CRM are following one business application path, and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for operations developers who have worked with Dynamics AX are following another.
Even there are mandatory exams which need to be passed for getting the MCSE title, Microsoft announced and an elective exam pool where they can choose one exam that suits their knowledge and expertise in their area of work.
